Procedure for submitting a manuscript
- How to start
Deliberationes uses the Open Journal System (OJS3) framework for publication. Deliberationes accepts original papers not yet published elsewhere and not submitted parallelly to any other journal.
To submit a manuscript, first you must register on the website. Once registered, you will have access to submitting your manuscript.
First please provide some basic information about the manuscript, such as the language of your study and the section where you want it to be published. You can choose from the following sections: Study section, Thematic section, Review section, In memoriam section.
The submitted manuscript must comply with the following requirements:
- The submitted manuscript has not been previously published or reviewed in any other journal (see the Guidelines for Authors section for further information).
- Your submitted file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word or RTF document file format.
- URLs are provided for the links, where available
- The text is single-spaced, using a font size of 12. Italics are used instead of underlining (except for URLs), and all illustrations, figures and tables are placed in the appropriate section of the body of the text and not at the end of the document.
- The text adheres to and complies with the stylistic and bibliographical requirements outlined in the Formal Requirements.
1.Uploading the manuscript for submission
In this section you can upload the manuscript and its annexes (Text of the manuscript - Bibliography - Tables and diagrams - Images - Other)
You can attach multiple files. After each upload, select the type of document you want to upload.
3.Entering metadata
Give the title and subtitle (if available) of the manuscript in English and Hungarian.
Abstract*
Please provide an abstract of up to 250 words, divided into paragraphs (1-2 sentences per paragraph), both in English and in Hungarian.
Key words*
Please provide the keywords of your study in English and Hungarian. 3-5 words or phrases. After each of them, press enter.
References*
Please include the full reference list of the manuscript here, even if you have already attached it as a separate file in the Upload section (2).
Resources, copyright, sponsorship
If the submitted manuscript is from another source, here you can enter the URL and/or the name of the source.
If the manuscript has been prepared using funding from a sponsor, you can indicate it here, as well as the copyright owner.
- Confirmation and completion of submission
Before finalising your submission, you have the opportunity to review and edit the manuscript you have uploaded and the information you have provided. Then click on the Finish Submission button to submit the manuscript. After checking the formal requirements the editors will send you a system message, informing you of deadlines and further steps to be taken.
Formal requirements
Formal requirements for publication in the journal Deliberationes
Publications intended for the journal must be accompanied by a bibliography (with reference list) and a source reference. The references and bibliography should be compiled according to the APA (American Psychological Association. 2020. 7th Edition) international standard, as illustrated by the examples below.
